Wochenend-Seminar Waldbaden - Shinrin Yoku
- Workshops
“Shinrin Yoku,” which was launched in Japan in the early 1980s, is now known in Germany as “forest bathing.” However, it's not about getting wet in the forest... Just like with the popular sunbathing, people immerse themselves in a special atmosphere that relaxes them and is good for them. Recent studies have shown that the messenger substances in the trees, the so-called terpenes, as well as the moisture and purity of the spicy forest air have a demonstrably positive effect on the body and mind. Small effort – big effect: after just 15 minutes, blood pressure is regulated, the feeling of stress decreases, immune defenses and psyche are strengthened.
In Japan, “Shinrin Yoku” is now a recognized therapy for reducing stress-related illnesses such as sleep disorders, irritable bowel syndrome or depression. “Forest bathing on prescription” has recently been discussed in Germany.
Since forest bathing has a special preventive effect, it is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to do something good for themselves. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest and learn to open all your senses and let the forest work its magic on you through relaxation and mindfulness exercises.
The seminar fee also includes 2 overnight stays and full board.
