Running track at the Wilhelmsburger Inselpark

Every day, dozens of joggers and walkers swarm around the Außenalster. A real alternative south of the Elbe is the Wilhelmsburg Inselpark, where the legacy of the 2013 International Garden Show can be admired along the way.

Perfectly connected and easy to reach by public transport, the Wilhelmsburg Inselpark offers ideal conditions for all those who prefer outdoor sports and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Alster Circuit or the Stadtpark. 
The length of the routes can be varied or extended, starting from the 3 km long circuit, which leads past the Rosenboulevard and the Kuckucksteich pond to the Sansibar rock, then further to the south of the park through an allotment garden area and back again. 

Those who have worked out enough or simply like it a little quieter, can walk to one of the cafés or beer gardens and enjoy the peace and quiet of the park.
