The two pretty Deerns Anne Holmok and Angelika Eger come from beautiful northern Germany, the region where "the fish are in the water, not on land". The two thoroughbred musicians had known and appreciated each other for a long time before they had the idea of combining their two instruments, voice and accordion, into a new project ten years ago. Since then, the "Zwei schnieken Deerns" have been enchanting Northern Germany's stages and are now inviting you to an extraordinary concert evening on beautiful Timmendorfer Strand to celebrate their tenth anniversary on stage. You can look forward to French chansons, excursions into Portuguese and Spanish music, English and German oldies as well as modern jazz pieces with vocals and accordion. But friends of maritime music will also get their money's worth, as both chansons and shanties, performed with a warm, full voice and maritime verve and joy, go well with the wonderful accordion sounds.
