We take a journey through Europe's cheese production, which is so incredibly diverse. The countries of origin include Spain, Greece, Holland, Switzerland, Norway and Great Britain.
Experience classic and surprising combinations. Discover new cheeses and wines and experience how enjoyable the right combination can be.
For each cheese, we taste two wines together and describe and evaluate the combination and taste impact of cheese and wine on each other.
The wines (white and red) come from European wine-growing regions. We enjoy working out the rules for combining cheese and wine. The extensive and exciting tasting is complemented by interesting facts about cheese and wine.
Please note that there are separate “Cheese and Wine” seminars for the countries of Germany, France and Italy and these countries are therefore not part of this “Cheese and Wine - Europe” seminar.
Seminar goal: Getting to know the rules for combining cheese and wine, discovering your own preferences and perception, and an enjoyable evening.
Target group: Lovers and those interested in cheese and wine with or without previous knowledge. Maximum 15 people
Services: Seminar with tasting of eight types of cheese in combination with two wines each (9-10 different wines), 0.75l mineral water per person, bread, seminar documents.
Duration: approx. 3.5 hours
