On our nature walks we take you into the fascinating world of plants and insects and focus our attention on one of their species. Today we are talking about the most popular species of the insect kingdom: butterflies!
We immediately perceive a piece of nature in which these beautiful animals flutter around bushes and flowers as 'healthy' and 'wholesome'. We are right, because the butterflies and their caterpillars tell us a lot about our environment and its ecology. Sara will identify the butterflies of summer nature with you and introduce you to her insect monitoring project.
