- City Walks
Some buildings in Friedrichsruh - such as the "Schloss" and the Imperial Post Office - have disappeared, others have undergone a remarkable change: The Altes Landhaus, once a restaurant, is home to the Bismarck Museum, the train station building is the seat of the Otto von Bismarck Museum. Foundation and in the white tower house, which was once a popular excursion restaurant for Hamburg residents, is now lived. On a three-hour tour, cultural scientist Nikolaj Müller-Wusterwitz tells the story of the small town in the middle of the Saxon Forest, which became famous in the late 19th century as the residence of Otto von Bismarck. The meeting point is at 3 p.m. at the Bismarck Museum, and a coffee break is planned in Café Vanessa (Butterfly Garden).
