Ausstellung: Alles im Fluss!? Wasser in der Krise
- Exhibition
The exhibition "Everything in flow!? Water in crisis" by the Heinrich Böll Foundation Hamburg provides an overview of the challenges our rivers and lakes, groundwater and seas face. How does plastic get from Hamburg to the Arctic? Are there “standing” rivers? Why are our forests burning? Why is the pond disappearing from the village? In the climate crisis, water is not only becoming scarce, but also becoming too warm, increasingly polluted, and even deadly in flood disasters. This not only has consequences for important ecosystems such as floodplains and forests, but also threatens people and animals, influences our economy and changes entire areas of Germany. The climate crisis is already a water crisis. The exhibition is also intended to encourage and show how we as a society can better protect our water. Even if the tasks may be large, solutions already exist today. Together we can achieve a lot: in our communities, in parliaments, in companies or at home.
