Tango: Concert and/or Milonga (Live & DJ)
A new journey through Argentinian backyards, orange groves, fishing ports, and dive bars: With sophisticated arrangements of classic tangos, vals, milongas, and film scores, and in a unique style that blends sophisticated interpretation with the charming flirtation of street musicians, accordionist and arranger Gerhard A. Schiewe, singer Suzanna, and the Tango Project entice dancers onto the dance floor with mischievous glee in three live sets. For they don't just have tango in their minds, they have it in their hearts!
Concert & Milonga – the evening offers both music to listen to and to dance to! Couples sway freely to the passionate and soulful music. Those who prefer to listen can relax in the concert area in front of the stage, enjoying the wonderful music and perhaps a glass of wine. And, if you like, you can also enjoy the view of the dancers in the beautifully illuminated Altona Cultural Church. Whether dancing or listening – it's sure to be a delightful evening!
