Classical ballet has never been so explosive: in “Rock the Ballet”, virtuoso dancing, high-energy choreography and the latest rock and pop hits come together to create a show that really gets the audience going.

The New York-based ensemble combines technical perfection with the energy of a pop concert, thrilling ballet fans and newcomers to dance alike. Since its debut in 2008, “Rock the Ballet” has consistently received standing ovations at the St. Pauli Theatre. Now the acclaimed dance show is returning to Hamburg – spectacular, sexy and bursting with energy!

Located on the Reeperbahn, the St. Pauli Theatre enjoys the reputation of being Hamburg's oldest private theatre. The theatre building is already a listed building. Due to its special location in the middle of the Reeperbahn entertainment mile, the performances in the St. Pauli Theatre also have a more rustic feel than in the usual city theatres in Hamburg, promising even long-established theatre fans a refreshingly different performance experience. 

  • By public transport / HVV S-Bahn lines S1 or S3 to Reeperbahn stop; U-Bahn line U3 to St. Pauli stop; bus to Davidstraße stop 
  • By car A7 from the north: Take the Stellingen exit onto Kieler Straße in the direction of Centrum/Altona, Hafen. Turn into Reeperbahn at the S-Bahn Reeperbahn junction. A1 motorway from the south or north: Motorway junction Hamburg Süd onto the A255 over the Elbbrücken towards Centrum.
