“Welcome on board!” is the motto on the Bleichen every month at the “Open Ship” dates from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at berth Shed 51.
Those interested in maritime matters are cordially invited to get an authentic impression of the lives and work of the crews before the invention of the container.
The volunteer crew is happy to explain the history of the ship to you in a knowledgeable and committed manner. No one should miss the opportunity to experience all areas of the freighter under expert guidance.
A family-friendly supporting program appeals to young and old.
Our tried and tested galley crew will take care of your physical well-being with delicious meals and refreshments at affordable prices.
Admission is free, donations to help maintain the ship are welcome.

Berth of the ship: At the harbor museum
Hansahafen, Bremerkai next to shed 51 in the eastern free port
How to get there by public transport:
S 3 and S 31 S-Bahn stadium Veddel
Exit towards Niedernfelder Brücke harbor, Veddeler Damm, walking time approx. 20 minutes
Bus line 256 towards Alter Elbtunnel stop Veddel West.
New: With the historic bus line 856 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from the U/S train stop Elbbrücken to the harbor museum.
Arrival by car:
From the city center via HafenCity / Veddeler Damm towards Köhlbrandbrücke. From the BAB A 7 exit Waltershof over the Köhlbrand Bridge towards the city, follow the signs “Schuppen 50 - 52”. Free parking spaces are available.
