We invite you to an adventure trip through the orchards. In the middle of nature, the “fruit farmer and boss” will personally explain to you how fruit is grown in the Altes Land today.

You drive past the apple and cherry trees to our irrigation basin and find out why frost protection irrigation is important. On the frosty nights during flowering, the Altes Land is transformed into a breathtaking ice landscape. In the orchards you can see how environmentally friendly the healthy fruit is produced in the Altes Land. From tree pruning to thinning to harvesting, you will learn everything about fruit growing and there will be enough time for questions that you have always wanted answered by an expert.

In rainy weather you get a look into the barn with the apple sorting system and the large cold storage rooms. You will be amazed by the gentle storage process that keeps our apples crisp and fresh for almost 12 months. The lecture takes place whatever the weather.

Afterwards, our farm shop and the Glashaus Café invite you to browse and feast. Here you will not only find our valuable refined fruits in juice, liqueurs or jams, but also many other regional products and plenty of decorations for home and garden.
