moonday6 bring modern rock to the Bambi galore, with a sound that feels both familiar and fresh. Inspired by greats such as the Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC and Soundgarden, the quartet from Hanover combines powerful guitars, catchy hooks and honest lyrics to create a sound that’s instantly catchy and really comes into its own when performed live.
Formed in the midst of the pandemic, the band got off to an impressive start: as early as 2023, moonday6 won the German Rock Prize as well as five further awards, including Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Newcomer. With their debut album ‘All Night Long’ and their latest release ‘Wild + Free’, they have long since established themselves as a fixture on the German modern rock scene. Tours with Michael Schenker, Molly Hatchet, hed PE and Voodoo Circle underline that moonday6 aren’t just impressive on paper – but above all on stage.
