K!R Biergarten-Frühschoppen am Heimathaus im Sommer: NAT KING THOMAS
- Festivals & Celebrations
New to the K!R cultural calendar is the morning pint in the beer garden at the Heimathaus.
With banjo, mobile percussion, cornet and singing (depending on the occasion also with double bass or sousaphone), this line-up impresses at open air events without a stage or technology. Happy jazz with German lyrics, sea shanties, hits, but also New Orleans classics and our own songs ensure a good mood and a good mood for young and old. As crude as this may sound at first to some cultivated listeners, the performance never degenerates into pure effect, but impresses with its craftsmanship and artistic improvisations. Nat King Thomas' laconic singing always gives even the most worn-out evergreens an unexpected depth and refreshingly new levels of meaning. So even the critical connoisseur gets his money's worth.
Matthias Müller and his beer garden team will offer suitable drinks and food!
