The DOM is a piece of Hamburg's tradition and a guarantor for playing, fun, thrill and nostalgia. The term DOM goes back to the 14th centry when a gathering of dealers, craftsmen and jugglers, who - after a couple of frictions - were allowed to linger in the Marien Church when the weather was rainy. Towards the end of the 19th century, the showmen found their "new home" on the Heiligengeistfeld. Fridays at approximately 22:00 will be great fireworks!
