Music for the soul - Concert with "Sing your soul" in the Maria Magdalenen church

The duo "Sing your Soul" is the winner of the international music competition "Open Accordion Contest 2014", which took place in Bielefeld. The aim of the musicians is - as the name implies - to interpret known and unknown melodies so that the music touches the soul. In the expressive and extremely rare instrument cluster of up to five different clarinets (eg bass and alto clarinet) and concert accordion, we offer interesting programs of different styles of classical music, contemporary music, klezmer, tango and underground music.

Meike Salzmann has been playing the accordion since the age of eleven and soon became the leader and soloist in the accordion orchestra Eckernförde e. V., whose chairmanship and management she took over in 2012. She received lessons from various teachers, including a private study with the Russian bayan virtuoso Vladimir Yeshkin (graduate of the Gnessin Conservatory and lecturer of the Moscow Philharmonic), with whom she founded the duo "accorduos". Private lessons and workshops with Grigori Osmanian, Lydie Auvray, Hans-Günther Kölz and Wolfgang Russ followed. She is a laureate of several musical competitions and offers with her instrument art level. She is a student councilor at the Bernstorff-Gymnasium Satrup.

Ulrich Lehna, a native of Mainz, studied clarinet and saxophone after classical training in recorder and piano. After completing his music studies in Mainz and Cologne, he moved to the coast to Altenholz. He works as a freelance concert clarinetist and successful music educator in the Kiel area and in the Danish Wohld. He gives individual and group lessons in clarinet and saxophone playing, both privately and in wind projects of public schools. Several ensembles are under his direction.
