Cooking workshop "Amaranth & Harvest Festival"
Amaranth is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world and remains an important part of the diet in many regions of the Earth today. In the cooking workshop, we will discover its versatile and enjoyable uses and learn about its potential for sustainable and future-oriented nutrition. The communal cooking will be complemented by insights from experiences in Tanzania: Since 2025, the Landhaus Schulze-Hamann has been engaged as a partner of the Tanzanian Bees & &rees association in a school nutrition project. The focus will be on questions that are currently relevant in both regions: How can sustainable food production, healthy and enjoyable nutrition, and species and climate protection be concretely and sustainably interconnected?
