On 11 October, Hangover from Minsk are coming to Hamburg — alongside Marschland and a special guest who is still a secret.
The band started out as a side project of Dymna Lotva, but their sound is less like classic black metal and more like melancholic post-black metal with doom and post-rock influences. Oscillating between heaviness, melody and utter self-destruction, their debut album “Party Is Over” lies somewhere between nights of heavy drinking and emotional breakdown — dark, direct and surprisingly catchy.
