Natural history walk through the Becklinger Moor
Experience part of the approximately 4,500-year-old raised moor on a natural history walk.
Your guide - Simone Groothuis -, a certified nature and landscape guide, will explain this sensitive landscape with its unique flora and fauna to you in a clear and experience-oriented way. How the moor was used in the past and why moor protection is so important today.
Climb the Heinrich Eggers observation tower, built in 2013, enjoy the peace and privacy of the moorland and be enchanted by the diverse birdlife such as cranes, marsh harriers, red kites and sea eagles.
Weather-appropriate clothing and waterproof shoes are recommended.
