Henning Pertiet is a dazzling figure in the German blues and boogie scene: He is a bluesy boogie woogie pianist or a boogie-playing blues pianist, organist and synthesizer improviser and moves naturally in and between these supposedly very different worlds.

Pertiet is the winner of the GERMAN BLUES AWARD as best pianist of the year 2017, an internationally recognized award!
He was a permanent member of the legendary Austrian MOJO BLUES BAND for four years and has been touring and playing for 30 years with all the greats of Blues & Boogie Woogie such as Axel Zwingenberger, Vince Weber, Abi Wallenstein and so on...
He is one of the most expressive pianists in the genre today.

Zwingenberger - himself probably the most famous boogie woogie pianist of all - says about his colleague: Henning is one of the leading blues & boogie specialists today... worldwide!

In 1973, Axel Zwingenberger began to devote himself 100% to the music that would be his everything for the rest of his life: Boogie Woogie.
Zwingenberger has become a synonym worldwide when it comes to this term, which originally goes back to a recording by the black pianist Clarence "Pinetop" Smith in 1928: Pinetop's Boogie Woogie became a hit in the USA and for the next decade this music became the pop music of young Americans, both black and white!!

The two pianists Pertiet and Zwingenberger will set off a firework display of Blues & Boogie!
