Sporthalle Hamburg
Hamburg's second largest event hall is located on the edge of the Stadtpark in the district of Winterhude.
Originally built purely as a sports venue, it was converted into a multi-purpose hall with variable stage and interior areas in the 1980s. Today, the venue can offer space for up to 7,000 visitors. In addition to sporting events ranging from basketball to handball to boxing, rock and pop concerts, in-house trade fairs and other large-scale events are also regularly held here.
