Hamburger Kultursommer

Here Hamburg rocks under the open sky! The Hamburger Kultursommer is an annual open air event series on the racetrack in Bahrenfeld. Every year in summer, big concerts take place there.

When Hamburg becomes an open-air living room and sounds echo through the streets from all directions, it's Hamburg's Kultursommer (Culture Summer). From 8 to 30 August 2026, this cross-genre festival will fill the city with music – featuring big names and surprising discoveries.

Whether in central squares, green parks or urban cultural venues, the Hamburg Kultursommer 2026 transforms the entire city into a stage. Around 15,000 visitors celebrate together to top acts such as AnnenMayKantereit, Die Toten Hosen and Kraftklub. Trendy artists such as Nina Chuba, Montez and BUNT. will also provide rousing live experiences. From indie to hip-hop, from pop to electro – the line-up reflects the diversity of Hamburg and its music scene.
