Since the start of this season, David Hermlin has been at the orchestra’s helm, continuing the musical tradition of his father, Andrej Hermlin, with fresh vigour and great authenticity. Together with singer Rachel Hermlin and an excellent ensemble, he strikes a perfect balance between historical authenticity and a lively stage presence.
As well as the well-known evergreens, audience members can also look forward to rarely performed arrangements and surprising discoveries. »Swing is the Thing« is therefore not only a tribute to the great pioneers, but a concert experience full of charm, rhythm and timeless joie de vivre.
