Southern California has long been a hotbed for some of the most explosive, original and innovative guitarists of our time. And whilst Eric Sardinas embodies all these qualities, he is perhaps the only contemporary rock and blues musician who – thanks to his electrified resonator guitar style – forges a genuine connection with the forefathers of Delta blues such as Charlie Patton, Bukka White, Big Bill Broonzy, Elmore James and Muddy Waters. Eric burst onto the South Californian blues scene in the early 1990s and has had a lasting impact on the rock and blues landscape with his slide guitar playing, his raw vocals and his high-energy blues-rock songs. Eleven years after his breakthrough on the live scene, Eric is on the verge of reaching the pinnacle of the rock and blues world; in doing so, he uniquely fuses Mississippi Delta country blues, Chicago R&B, Motor City boogie and smoky Southern rock.
“Sardinas presents slide guitar playing with a hard-rock edge, the likes of which have never been seen or heard before.”
