Hardly any other tenor has enjoyed such a meteoric rise to the pinnacle of the tenor world over the past five years as Jonathan Tetelman. Born in Chile in 1988, the star tenor grew up in the United States and completed his vocal studies in New York. Since then, he has been taking the world’s opera houses by storm. He captivates audiences at the New York Met just as much as at the Vienna State Opera, London’s Covent Garden, or the Semper Opera in Dresden. His debuts at the Salzburg Festival were celebrated just as enthusiastically as those in Baden-Baden or his first guest performance with the Berlin Philharmonic.
