Some songs are first heard in the studio. These will be heard for the first time in a room full of people. In 2027, HAEVN take »Anima« on tour, with 20 concerts in 12 countries, including performances at some of Europe’s most celebrated concert halls.
»Anima« is a new world that HAEVN are only just beginning to explore. The word means »soul«. At a time when music can be created with just a few clicks, Marijn van der Meer and Jorrit Kleijnen deliberately choose the longer path. Rather than presenting something already finished, they invite audiences to become part of the creative process. Night after night, HAEVN will perform new songs and pieces that no one has heard before, alongside the beautiful music that has brought the duo this far. What they experience together in these concert halls will become part of what »Anima« ultimately grows into.
Since 2015, HAEVN have created a distinctive cinematic and symphonic world, somewhere between concert and ritual, intimate yet overwhelming. Their album »Eyes Closed« achieved platinum status, and the band has sold out Le Trianon in Paris, Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London and AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Today, more than one million people listen to HAEVN every month.
