In Carl Orff’s »Carmina Burana«, the monumental power of the choir meets pure rhythm. This is particularly evident in this version for soloists, choir, two pianos and percussion. To perform this magnificent work, the Hamburger Oratorienchor has invited the Hans-Sachs-Chor from Nuremberg. 180 singers will bring the work to life in all its archaic power.
