Habitat is a festival for electronic music and the finest escapism. At the end of July we will celebrate 32 hours non-stop in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, driven by an ambitious lineup of techno, electro, DnB and house acts as well as musical ricochet and surprise bags from selected genres. Breathless and atmospherically dense, we explore intermediate worlds and find what we have never lost.

The Habitat Festival took place for the first time in 2015 - at the time at the Hungriger Wolf airfield in Hohenlockstedt. It grew, became more diverse and more exciting. The habitat became a community and we set off together; a joint journey of exploration into border areas and states of consciousness - with workshops, live shows and endless DJ sets.

There has always been a special focus on a unique booking that brings together the most diverse varieties of electronic music, offers a stage for exciting artists and developments and at the same time keeps your eyes and ears sharp for worthwhile sounds beyond the usual sounds.
