Epilogue – the final speech, the aftermath in the play. With his latest creation, "Epilogue", John Neumeier bids farewell after 51 years as artistic director and chief choreographer of the Hamburg Ballet. For "Epilogue", Neumeier chose quiet tones. It is an intimate, more chamber music-like work for the ensemble that he shaped for decades and led to world fame. "Epilogue" is an interplay of dance, music and song and a moving conclusion to the John Neumeier era in Hamburg.
The premiere also opens the 49th Hamburg Ballet Days.
