Route description
Our trip starts in Bergedorf harbor on the Serrahn, over the new and old lock ditches we go to the Krapphof lock, which takes us over a lift of 0.50 m onto the Dove Elbe. Here we set course for the marshes and sail the Dove Elbe along the Reitbrooker mill, the Allermöher shipyard, over the Allermöhe rowing and regatta course, past marinas and over the Stattenberg lock onto the Norderelbe.
Under the Elbe bridges we reach Billwerder Bay, where we are channeled via the Tiefstack lock onto the Bille. The route continues past lots of greenery, industry and allotment gardens, full of contrasts, to the stopover at the Hammerbrook pier, on the side of the Grone School right next to the S-Bahn station.
We stop here from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and then drive back to Bergedorf via the same route.
