The Scandinavian Christmas Village in the heart of Hamburg Barmbek celebrates its 10th anniversary. The beautifully lit and lovingly decorated market starts this year already on the 23rd of November at noon.
In the atmospherically decorated little village of wooden huts on the newly designed Piazzetta-Ralph-Giordano, the Christmas spirit really gets going on this pre-christmas season. Until the end of the year, the Christmas bakery prepares crêpes and roasted almonds, two mulled wine stands offer delicious mulled wine creations, and if your stomach is rumbling - selected food stands cook and fry hearty dishes, also vegetarian.
The nostalgic children's carousel will delight the little ones and in the Kulturscheune there will be a varied program, readings, singers and songwriters as well as a children's theatre.
