Here, plant pioneers are at the stove: With Kurkuma, Germany's first purely vegan cooking school opened in 2015. The wide range of courses on offer takes you through the cooking pots of the world and there are also a number of special seminars focusing on wine, cakes and chocolates or health-promoting nutrition. By means of extensive product knowledge and learning-by-doing, participants experience how varied and tasty the green kitchen can be. At the latest with the tasting, even passionate omnivores get their money's worth. The price: depending on the course between 50 and 65 Euro.
A modern interpretation of down-to-earth simplicity: With its refined Hanseatic cuisine, the Vlet has long since established itself in the Hamburg restaurant scene. Since 2015, hobby cooks have been able to prepare what is served in the Speicherstadt and on the Alster under professional guidance. Using regional ingredients, the participants create lovingly balanced three-course menus in courses such as "cooking like a mother's" or "gourmet cooking", which, depending on the season, can include typical North German dishes - from hearty Labskaus to sweet Schlackermaschü. In Eppendorf she not only runs her Italian Gastronomia, but also personally offers Mediterranean cooking courses in the immediate vicinity. During the detailed evening events, the perfect pasta, Mediterranean fish or truffle dishes are at the centre of attention. La Poletto's culinary tricks are available first-hand for 390 euros - a premium course with her employees costs 180 euros.

In contrast to his Hamburg restaurants, the guests themselves stand at the stove to create Californian-Japanese delicacies with professional assistance. In the stylish location on the Elbe, Henssler's kitchen team reveals its "sushi secrets", has the participants prepare "The perfect 4-course menu" and trains other appetising disciplines under course names such as "We love fish" or "Here's the Beef".
