As a cosmopolitan city, the LGBTQIA+ scene in Hamburg has a long tradition. There is a wide range of queer meeting places in the Hanseatic city. Dance the night away, sip delicious cocktails and getting to know cool people. The doors are open to queers and friends in a large number of Hamburg bars and pubs.

An absolute classic of the scene is the gay bar Wunderbar, which has been at home in St. Pauli since the 1990s. The MINUS Bar has a particularly unusual concept: in addition to homemade gelato, it also offers cool beats until late in the evening. The Toom Peerstall also has a long queer tradition. The cosy bar hosts events ranging from drag shows to jazz concerts.

Hamburg's bar scene is extremely diverse and offers the finest entertainment around the clock. The queer hotspots are mainly concentrated around St. Georg and St. Pauli. However, tolerance and diversity also characterise the cityscape outside the mainstream districts.
