In the Kilo-Shop Hamburg Altona, the German Red Cross sells high-quality second-hand goods at kilo prices.
As the name suggests, you pay a predetermined low price per kilo. If that’s too much: You can also buy only half a kilo. In addition, there is a one-euro area where you can purchase high-quality clothing for only one euro.
Shopping for a good cause
At the same time, you are not just doing your own wallet some good: All of the shop’s revenue goes to charity. In addition, a great amount of the clothing donations received by the DRK is transferred directly to needy persons in charity shops.
