The Aukrug Golf Club in Mittelholstein offers a special sports and nature experience amidst a conservation area.

In the middle of the Aukrug conservation area, the Aukrug Golf Club is an oasis of calm with a nearly 50-year golf history. This makes Aukrug one of the oldest golf clubs in Schleswig-Holstein. With much sensitivity for the glacial landscape of the nature park and passion for golf, the course designers worked on and developed the space for decades. The golfer’s glance falls on hills and valleys, magnificent oaks, pines and birches. Here is an alder break, there ponds and bushes. You will also find beech forests with winding brooks full of fish, where kingfishers nest on the densely overgrown banks.
The Aukrug Golf Club offers all this and more: Biotopes with native orchids, pine forests and magnificent views far into the land. The most recent restoration of the Sellbek, the small river, which runs through the entire site, makes the location even more attractive and demanding for the golfer.
The greens and fairways are perfectly maintained and the many doglegs and bunkers require great concentration. The Golf Club Aukrug is located one hour north of Hamburg and is reached best directly via the A7 motorway at the Neumünster-Mitte exit.  In addition to the 18-hole championship course that requires a DGV handicap of at least -36 as well as a public 6-hole short course, the facility offers the best golf sports requirements for beginning and advanced players.
After a good round of golf, the restaurant team invites you to a refreshing drink in the clubhouse or on the sun terrace. There are tasty snacks as well as hot meals from a daily changing menu. For those with more appetite, fine and rustic dishes from our extensive menu are also available.
Introductory offers for beginners: 2-Hour introductory course every second Sunday. More information about the introductory course for beginners can be found here. DGV handicap course: Bi-weekly, 90-minute group training. More information about the DGV handicap course can be found here.
