Heiße Ecke – The St. Pauli Musical
Everyone in St. Pauli meets at the Heiße Ecke snack bar. The Pinneberger boys Mikie, Frankie and Pitter, the lovers Straube, the fence Henning, Hannelore from the night shift or the whores Nadja, Sylvie and Martina - for all of them, the "Heiße Ecke" is their market place.
Currywurst to go
Here they fall into each other's arms - or backs. Everyone gets a currywurst to go and a smart-alec slogan on top. Since the premiere of the musical Heiße Ecke in September 2003, the production by Schmidt-Hausherr Corny Littmann has already enthused over a million viewers and, with around 2,000 performances, is currently the most successful German-language music theatre production.
