Many spinners are responding today to a worldwide call from the Handspinning Guild. It is World Spin in Public Day .
The "Spinning Wheel & Co." group is answering this call and will be present with several spinning wheels on the museum grounds during the baking day. Anyone who enjoys keeping the ancient tradition of spinning alive, or is interested in it, is cordially invited to stop by the Seppensen Museum Village. Whether you bring your own spinning wheel or a spindle, everyone is welcome!
The event will take place outdoors. In case of rain, the Sniers Hus offers shelter. Warm clothing is definitely recommended. Please bring your own seating and food.
We will be offering coffee and butter cake on this day, but only while stocks last.
The cake sale starts at 3 p.m.
