Wintersleep - Wishing Moon Tour Pop

After seven acclaimed albums, Canadian indie rock veterans Wintersleep are back! “Wishing Moon”, the band’s eighth album, will be released on March 27, 2026, and heralds a new era for the band.



“Wishing Moon” promises a glorious garage-rock frenzy, a perfect alchemy of jubilation and grandeur that has always characterized Wintersleep's sound. Recorded in producer Nicolas Vernhes' (The War on Drugs, Deerhunter, Animal Collective) studio in the heart of the Mojave Desert, the collection of 12 songs testifies to a new vitality and energy: The band's influences from prog, indie, folk, and alternative rock are in full bloom, reaching towards the heavens with grateful, open, and curious hearts. “The band's always at its strongest when there's a fundamental groove that's rolling along,” says drummer Loel Campbell – thus promising an energetic live performance of the new album, as well as older songs from the band's more than 20-year history.
