Thirsty Mamas - 20 years on the road
Founded in Hamburg in 2006, Thirsty Mamas draw inspiration from blues-rock traditions à la Gary Clark Jr. and Buddy Guy, with raw rock influences reminiscent of Clutch and dark undertones à la Tom Waits. The band is known for their unique interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic "Personal Jesus." Their sound is characterized by a distinctive vocal performance, signature slide guitars, a prominent harmonica, and an exceptionally tight interplay between bass and drums.
