In 1980, The Hooters burst onto Philadelphia’s vibrant music scene as an innovative new rock band. Their unique blend of ska, reggae and rock brought a fresh sound to the city’s clubs and radio stations. In 1985, Rolling Stone named The Hooters »Best New Band of the Year«. In July of the same year, the group was also chosen to open the legendary Live Aid concert in Philadelphia. Now comes »Every Ticket Tells A Story« – the 2027 European summer tour, with which The Hooters celebrate their 47th anniversary as a band. Their live shows remain exuberant musical celebrations – for the band as much as for their loyal and enthusiastic fans.
