We’re bringing an open-mic format to Hamburg that’s primarily for young artists from the local neighbourhoods. Whether you’re just starting out or have been making music for a while, here you can perform your own songs live – with no pressure, no expectations, but with genuine support.
Most slots are allocated in advance via our Instagram account, so it’s best to sign up there beforehand. On the night of the gig, there’ll also be a few last-minute slots available, for which you can get your name added to the list on the door. Play 1 to 3 songs – bring your story and your own style with you.
Take The Mic isn’t just about music. It’s about being heard, trying things out and building self-confidence. Meet other people who feel just like you – different backgrounds, one shared space. No judgement, just respect.
