Les Calcatoggios - SKA SKA SKA
Les Calcatoggios from Berlin – can you believe it? Les Calcatoggios have been gracing the Berlin ska scene since 1998 and celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2023. Founded during a holiday in Corsica under the name Calcatoggio, they have been playing stages in Berlin and the surrounding area ever since. But they have also performed in other regions of Germany, as well as in England, France, Poland, and Spain.

They have played multiple times at festivals including ApoSkalypse, Skanta Klaus, This is Ska, and Dynamite Ska in 2024. This makes them one of the best German ska bands, and they contribute to the scene through organizing festivals and other initiatives. The band consists of eight members: Ela on drums, Roland on guitar, Sandra on vocals, Hajo on bass, and the horn section includes Paula (tenor sax), Thomas (trumpet), and Benny (trombone); Tor plays keyboards. They create lively and refreshing music that they hope will get everyone dancing and singing along.
Catchy melodies, ingenious rhythm changes and a willingness to be unusual will have your dancing shoes smoking!
