Denning Course from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
"He who sleeps whiledenning, wakes up while mowing!" - This old mower's saying sums up how important denging the scythe is to mowing. In this three-hour course, you will learn about three different denging methods and practice them intensively. Denging involves hammering the cutting edge (the dengel) of the scythe paper-thin. Then the dengel is sharpened. Now the scythe is super sharp. This is the most important prerequisite for body-friendly, fatigue-free mowing with the scythe.
At the end of the course, you will have denged a scythe, either your own or a practice scythe. All material and tools will be provided by the scythe instructor.
Cost for the denning course 60 EURO.
Price for both courses in one day in total: 120 EURO.
