The works of pianist, composer, and sound visionary Riopy are known for his albums, which reached number one on the classical charts, as well as for healing and meditation programs, documentaries, trailers for Oscar-winning films, award-winning commercials, and much more.

Jean-Philippe Rio-Py, born in France in 1983 and raised in a cult, taught himself to play the piano at a young age and began composing his own pieces early on. He eventually found his way to London, where he initially played in small clubs and later became a “Young Steinway Artist.” Now known worldwide as Riopy, he is a pianist and multi-instrumentalist with over a billion streams, sold-out concerts on several continents, collaborations with renowned artists such as Lana Del Rey, and a series of albums that have topped the classical charts.

Riopy’s breakthrough came in 2019 with the album »Tree Of Light«, which reached number one on the Billboard Classical and New Age charts and remained there for almost three years. This was followed by further albums in which he continued to expand his musical language, using strings for the first time and exploring the theme of resilience through sound. The new, fifth album »Be Love« was mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Oli Jacobs (Peter Gabriel, Lana Del Rey, Van Morrison). In addition to instrumental pieces—a return to his roots of cinematic solo piano—Riopy experiments with his voice for the first time in other tracks, ranging from meditative whispers to raw and emotional lyrics.

The album is an appeal born out of the artist’s impressive journey of rediscovery and resistance, and his refusal to be silenced by fear or illness. »It’s called Be Love because that’s the only thing that matters. Be love. And if we all love, then everything is fine«, says Riopy simply.
