PLAY - Creative Gaming Festival 2025: »Take Care« Festivals

From November the 12th to 15th, 2025, Hamburg’s HafenCity will be transformed into a creative hotspot for digital gaming culture. Under the motto “Take Care,” the 18th PLAY – Creative Gaming Festival will address the question of how responsibility, care, and social participation can be made visible and tangible in and through games. Visitors await a diverse program of interactive exhibitions, talks, workshops, training courses, and shows at the new festival venues urbaneo – Junges Architektur Zentrum and New Work. All events are free of charge. PLAY is the festival for game lovers, indie game developers and media artists, students, teachers and educators, academics and people from the games industry, as well as anyone who wants to play and learn with games.
