Turn code into music! In this workshop, you'll compose your own music using the Sonic Pi program. Are you passionate about music? Then you'll discover a new way to express yourself and learn programming along the way. Already have some programming experience? Then you'll experience music making from a whole new perspective. From techno to classical, anything goes! By the end of the workshop, you'll have composed a song and learned something new about programming.

About the ICMC & Off-ICMC
The International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) is coming to Hamburg-Harburg. For over 50 years, artists, musicians, and scientists from around the world have gathered annually at the ICMC to explore the interplay between music and digital technologies. From May 11 to 16, 2026, Off-ICMC will take place: a free accompanying program focusing on the theme of "Music in Our Digital Age."
