Midsummer at Goldmarie by the Lake - Celebrate Scandinavian way of life!
Festival for the Summer Solstice On 06.19.2026, Goldmarie by the Lake, together with the Tourist Information of the city of Bad Segeberg, invites you to a festive Midsummer celebration. From 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., everything revolves around the traditional Scandinavian Midsummer – with appropriate decorations, culinary specialties, delightful drinks, music, and a special participation offer.
Flower Crown Workshop Together with Ambiente Bad Segeberg, a traditional crown-making workshop will be offered: From 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., guests can create their own flower crown under expert guidance. The number of participants is limited to eight spots. Pre-registration is required at Goldmarie at goldmarie-segeberg@gmx.de. The participation fee is 25 euros per person.
Scandinavian Cuisine The day will also be dedicated to Scandinavian culinary delights: Guests can look forward to Swedish strawberry cake, almond cake with berries, refreshing elderflower drinks, hearty specialties with salmon, and other summer delicacies.
Summer Atmosphere To create the right atmosphere, there will be summer background music starting at 6:00 p.m. Visitors are warmly invited to come in summer outfits that match the theme "Midsummer" and celebrate the longest days of the year together. The Midsummer festival promises a day full of sociability and Scandinavian joy of life right by the lake.
