The baking ships are among Hamburg's traditional fairytale ships that are moored at the Jungfernstieg during Advent. On board, children can shape, bake, and decorate their own Christmas cookies, experiencing the Christmas baking tradition in a special way.
The festively decorated ships combine baking together with a special experience on the Inner Alster Lake. Participants can then take their homemade cookies home. This activity is especially geared towards families with children and is a regular feature of the pre-Christmas program in Hamburg's city center.
