Lurup Feiert, one of the vibrant, community-spirited neighborhood festivals in Hamburg-Altona, is happening on Saturday, June 27th this years! As always, there is plenty to see, hear, and do—so bring your free time, appetite, and friends!
Musically, this year’s journey ranges from thoughtful Alternative Country and upbeat antifa pop tunes to SWANA- Funk, featuring bands such as Ride Lonesome, Wir Nicht, and Spine of the Sahara. The culinary offerings once againspan the entire globe, as all of Lurup is serving up treats! Physical activity is provided by sporty games, a glittering bouncy castle, and engaging activities for young and old alike. To help everyone cool off, the Volunteer Fire Department will be on-site with their large fire truck—and there will be plenty of other ways to quench your thirst, too.
Local initiatives, clubs, and community groups show what they're up to through activities such as screen printing, an Oshibana workshop, soccer darts or bracelet crafting. Kids can get their faces painted or adorned with glitter tattoos, and every visitor has a chance to win a prize in the Grand Tombola!
The neighborhood festival takes place from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the large, accessible grounds at Flurstraße 15. We encourage you to take advantage of the venue's excellent accessibility via bus lines 2 and 3 (stopping at Eckhofplatz or Flurstraße Nord).
