»guitars & friends« is the new international acoustic and world music series centred around the renowned guitarist Lulo Reinhardt. At the heart of »guitars & friends« is the guitar as a unifying element in musical exchanges with vocals, violin, percussion and other instruments. The artists perform both as soloists and in varying line-ups, working together to create a varied evening full of musical encounters and spontaneous moments.
A key part of the tour is Lulo Reinhardt, who has been one of the defining figures on the German and international live guitar scene for many years. On this first tour, the ensemble is joined by other internationally experienced musicians, including guitarist and singer Yuliya Lonskaya, violinist Maimuna and percussionist Uli Krämer. For the coming years, a constantly changing line-up is planned.
