Play, fun, and joy
The Wild West warmly welcomes you.
Once a year, the Karl-May-Platz turns into a great play mile – always during the Children's Festival of the Karl-May Games. For the 32nd time, Kalkberg GmbH is organizing this cultural event on Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A colorful program full of free participation activities will be offered around the open-air theater at Kalkberg. A special highlight of the festival: All actors from the cast of "In the Valley of Death" will come to the big autograph session in the Indian Village.
Managing Director Ute Thienel: “The Children's Festival has been a fixed date in our Wild West summer for decades. Where can families experience such an extensive program completely free of charge these days? It is our concern to make this possible – together with our partners! I would like to thank everyone who actively supports us in making this festival a success for the children!” The parking spaces of the Karl-May Games can also be used free of charge (as always).
Following the Children's Festival, a performance of “In the Valley of Death” will take place at 3 p.m.
